Backed by years of experience, our visual inspection service aims to uncover visible defects that may affect the structural integrity and performance of materials. With a keen eye for detail, our certified inspectors conduct a comprehensive analysis, identifying surface imperfections, irregularities, and anomalies. We offer a direct and insightful examination of components and ensure that no flaw goes unnoticed.
Through the application of dye penetrants, we can uncover even the tiniest surface defects such as cracks, porosity, or leaks, ensuring the integrity of your metal components.
Through the skilled application of magnetic particles and highly sensitive equipment, we meticulously inspect your components for surface and near-surface such as cracks, discontinuities, or defects for ferromagnetic materials. As a reliable and efficient inspection method, magnetic particles ensure the integrity of critical components, guaranteeing the highest standards of safety and performance.
We ensure meticulous examination and swift data analysis through high-frequency sound waves. We accurately detect defects such as voids, cracks, and inclusions, providing you with a comprehensive assessment of component integrity.
Our X-ray tube can be coupled to our digital processor or our standard film processor depending on your specific requirements. We are also equipped with a magnetic particle testing bench and liquid penetrant testing solutions. Ultrasonic testing may be available depending on the nature of the request.
Frequent test procedures followed: ASTM E94, E709, A275 E165
CMTB conducts structural inspections through visual, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic inspections. We perform these on scissor lifts, telescopic booms, fixed and mobile cranes, concrete pump trucks, aerial work platforms, and both standard and telescopic forklifts.
We conduct structural inspections on lifting equipment such as hoists, lifting beams, slings, etc., in compliance with standards. Additionally, we offer magnetic particle and ultrasonic inspections for the relevant components. While these techniques are not required by the standards, they provide a more thorough assessment of the equipment's integrity.
Our engineers are qualified to perform the expertise listed below.
Our engineering department provides valuable consulting services to a wide range of industries on projects with varying degrees of complexity. This includes projects as complex as root cause failure analysis using a multidisciplinary approach, to evaluating a material/product issue. Attention to detail and understanding the service conditions and scope of the failure are core principles in our approach and philosophy, no matter how big or small the project.
Assessing the susceptibility of materials to corrosion helps ensure the longevity and reliability of our client's products and infrastructure. We offer testing for various types of corrosion, including galvanic corrosion, stress corrosion cracking (SCC), erosion corrosion, microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC), crevice corrosion, and more. We implement effective preventive measures and optimize performance.
Our team of skilled professionals unravels the complexities of existing products and systems to provide accurate and detailed insights. This process allows us to understand the design, functionality, and manufacturing techniques employed, enabling us to recreate or improve upon the original product.
Through a thorough analysis of your application, environmental factors, and performance expectations, we provide tailored recommendations that align with your project goals. Our consulting services encompass a wide range of industries, ensuring optimal material choices for enhanced functionality, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
Our root cause failure analysis and materials consulting services also extend to the field when required.
